How much does waxing hurt?
Don’t be scared by what you may have heard or seen! We are expert waxers and when done correctly, waxing is only minimally painful, even on sensitive areas. You might be pleasantly surprised!
If you’re nervous or worried about the pain, you can take paracetamol an hour or so before your appointment, to ‘take the edge off’ the sensation. Follow pharmacist advice of course, and only take if it is safe to do so.
Try to avoid waxing in the days leading up to and during your period, where you’ll naturally be more sensitive, and make sure you don’t have a gym session booked either before or after your appointment.
