Waxing and Exercise
Light exercise such as walking or gentle cycling is fine, but heavier exercise that makes you hot, opens the pores, and makes the skin sweaty, means we cannot wax you. Sweaty skin prevents the wax from ‘sticking’, so often the hairs aren’t removed effectively, and the open pores creates the risk of folliculitis. Make sure you schedule your waxing appointments carefully, ideally on a different day to when you are doing heavy exercise.
