What is Dermaplaning and should I have it?
Dermaplaning has been around for a year or so now and has gained some media attention as a treatment for removing the downy, peach fuzz hair from the face, and leave skin glowing. This is achieved by passing a scalpel blade over the face... a bit like shaving. This removes all downy hair and dry, dead skin cells from the surface it’s sometimes followed by a soothing mask or LED light treatment. Some people swear by its anti-ageing effects, and if you suffer with unwanted facial hair, it can help manage the condition.
We don't offer it as part of heaven at number 7 as we honestly believe that other treatments get better results; for fine facial hair, go for threading! It's cheaper, has almost no risks, and last so much longer. And for glowing skin, our gentle yet effective facial peel treatments can't be beaten.
